The Caen Memorial is the only museum in the world to give an overall view of history from 1918 to the present day. Our photo gallery started with the study of the causes and consequences of the Second World War, but now covers a much wider range of subjects.

In 2,500 square metres of new areas, you continue your journey through the episode that left its mark on the second half of the twentieth century: the cold war. The journey continues with an area dedicated to peace, lending itself to reflection.
